Film Review

If you want an action packed thrilling film plus plenty if car chases, then you need to go and see the transporter. My highlight from the film is the part when Frank Martin played by Jason Stathan had to get out of his house from the secret hatch before the bad guys destroy his house with the rocket launcher

The title of this film is the transporter, it was directed by Corey Yuen (DOA: Dead or Alive), it was made in 2002 by Europa Corp. the genres of the film are Action/adventure, Crime and Thriller. The main actor in the film are Jason Stathan (lock, stock and two smoking barrels) I watched this film on the TV and I now have it on Blu-ray. This film is about a man (Statham) whose job is to deliver packages without asking any questions. But it all goes wrong and turns into an explosive film when he starts asking questions

Jason Statham plays Frank Martin who is a Special Forces veteran turned into a driver who transports illegal packages around the south of France. Transporting Martin has three rules; never change the deal, never exchange names, never look in the package. But when he's asked to take a package containing a Chinese woman beautiful Lai (Shu Qi) he breaks all of his rules, he opens the package and falls in love with the lady and he now has to fight off the bad guys in order to save her life and to stop the man who wants her dead

I was interested in the car chases and the stunt driving, this is mainly a man’s film because it is jam-packed with action, stunts and car chases. Another interesting character is the French policeman, he is an intriguing character because he works for the police as well as being friends with Frank Martin, and he knows Frank is a law breaker but he does not arrest him because Frank provides information on the whereabouts of some of the top criminals

I like this movie because it is an action-packed car chasing thrilling film that star one of my favourite actors and I think it is for a masculine gender because it has these genre and sub-genres these are the reasons why I am making the recommendation for this film. If your perfect combination is action + cars then the transporter is the must see film for you

Casino Royale

I chose this action scene because I think it has everything; it has multiple camera shot, good sound, editing and good special effects

It has good cinematography by the way it has multiple camera shots and angles, it has bird’s eye view angle when it shows the fight between the two animals. It has many shots to keep the viewer guessing where bond is and to show the reader what the character in the film can’t see (mobile phone text). It has multiple cameras when the chase is on this is unique because usually the cameras are following the character but in this film the character are running towards the cameras. There is lots of camera zooming to emphasize what the character is looking at. There are both low angle and high angle camera shots used in this scene. At every point in this scene there are cameras switching to other cameras all of the time

The sound in this scene is good because there is background music in it all of the time this keeps the viewer (glue to the screen). The sound effects on all of the scenery are spot on e.g. when the truck crashes through the wall it is as if it would sound if it would happen. The noises when bond punches and kicks the bad guys sound so real it could have happened, the sounds of the guns and explosions in the film are also realistic

There is lots of editing in this scene because the director wants to keep the viewer watching so rather than staying with one camera shot he switches to about 20 different shots within a minute

The special effects in this scene are fantastic because when the explosion happens when bond shoots the tank they actually y done that and added in the bodies. Also all of the gun shots and when the water pipe is hit, that is real sounding also all of the stunts are played by a professional free runner and a bond stunt double. When they are on the crane they actually had a fight at that height
